Our Journey to Excellence
Our story began in November 2014 when we partnered with Sumitomo Rubber South Africa to bring premium tyre solutions to the African market. We started by distributing Dunlop and Sumitomo products in Côte d’Ivoire and quickly expanded into 13 francophone West African nations. This foundation set the stage for broader growth across Africa.
While establishing a strong tyre distribution network in West Africa, we launched our retail arm in Zambia in 2015. This marked the birth of Carbon, formerly known as Auto and Tyre Worldwide Ltd. By 2017, we expanded into Nigeria and Malawi, followed by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Mozambique in 2018. Today, Carbon365 has a solid presence in all major markets across West, Southern, and Central Africa.
